French Manicure has stood the test of time. Jeff Pink introduced this famous manicure over 45 years ago, and it’s still as elegant and chic as ever.
The classic French manicure design comprises a selection of nude shades with a white nail tip. If you want to turn your grubby-looking hands into red carpet ready nails, look no further than this minimalistic design.
Today, French manicure has evolved from a single white colour. If you apply a good contrast, it’s considered a French manicure. Let’s check out the benefits of this time proof manicure.
Benefits of getting a French Manicure
- It relaxes and rejuvenates you: Getting a French manicure is a wonderful way to relax and rejuvenate your senses. Like other manicures, French manicure includes a relaxing massage, which improves blood circulation and loosens tight muscles. The oils nourish your fingers and hands as well as provides a soothing feel. Sit back and relax; let our manicurists work their magic and de-stress you.
- Your fingers look longer: If you have brittle nails or chubby fingers, a French manicure can come to your rescue. This manicure provides the illusion of slim fingers with its white tip and helps protect delicate nails from getting worn down.
- Can potentially stop nail biting: Are you stuck with the anti-social nail-biting habit? Go to a salon and get a French Manicure. When you get your nails done, you consciously avoid biting your nails because your nails look gorgeous, and you want to maintain them. You are proud of how your fingernails make you look and feel. James Clear explains this phenomenon in his bestselling book, Atomic Habits.
- Suitable for everyone and every occasion: Wedding? Get a French manicure. Job interview? Get a French manicure. Everyday school? Get a French manicure. This manicure blends into any dress or occasion, looking fabulous but never going overboard. It has the rare calibre to look beautiful regardless of age and occasion.
How is the French manicure done?
- Our manicurists begin by prepping the nails. Nail polish remover is applied to remove nail polish residue, and the desired nail shape is given.
- The fingers are dipped in warm water, and cuticle care is performed by gently pushing the cuticles back. Dirt and grim is removed from underneath nails.
- The base is applied evenly over the nails and allowed to dry for a couple of minutes.
- The nail guides are placed on the nails, and white nail polish is applied to the tips. A second coat is done if required.
- Once the white nail paint is completely dry, the nail guides are removed, and top coat of polish is applied.
And voila! Your French Manicure is done!
